Overview
Working with United States brands
The U.S. is our largest market by revenue. Roughly forty percent of our monthly output ships to Long Beach, Newark and Miami. Most of our U.S. clients are one- to five-person brands running Shopify and Amazon, and a handful are larger accessory houses reordering the same catalog quarterly.
How we work with U.S. Shopify brands
A typical Shopify brand approaches us with a tech pack or a reference bag and a target landed cost. We build the first sample in ten to fourteen days, send photos on WhatsApp before it ships, then DHL it to the founder's home in about four days. Once the sample is approved we run bulk on a thirty-five to forty-five day cycle, book LCL space out of Chittagong Port, and hand the container over to a U.S. forwarder who clears customs at Long Beach or Newark. Most brands never touch a customs broker themselves — they see the tracking number and then their 3PL sees the pallets.
Amazon FBA and compliance
For brands going into Amazon FBA we cut cartons to FBA dimensions, print the FNSKU barcode directly on the polybag, and add the Made-in-Bangladesh country-of-origin label the way Amazon requires it. We keep Prop 65 statements, CPSIA test reports and material composition sheets on file, so when Amazon flags a listing we can email the compliance pack the same day. This is where a lot of newer brands get stuck; we've done it enough times to know which fields Seller Central actually checks.
Freight — LCL, FCL and DDP
Under a thousand pieces, LCL through the Chittagong–Long Beach or Chittagong–Newark lane is usually cheapest — twenty-two to twenty-eight days on water. Above a thousand pieces we quote FCL, which saves per unit and cuts a few days at the destination port. If you don't want to deal with customs at all, we quote DDP: our forwarder files the entry, pays the duty (leather goods sit at four to eight percent depending on the HTS code), and trucks to your 3PL. You pay one invoice and receive goods.
What we're honest about
We are not the cheapest factory in Bangladesh. We won't quote below our cost to win a first order. If your target price only works with corrected-grain PU or split leather, we'll say so and offer alternatives instead of quietly downgrading the material. And we don't accept orders below fifty pieces per style — smaller than that, the tooling and pattern work loses money for both sides.

How do you handle first-time buyers who've never imported from Bangladesh?
We walk you through the paperwork once — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading — and connect you with one of two U.S. forwarders we've worked with for years. The first shipment is the hardest; the second one you'll manage in an email.
What is landed cost on a typical leather bag?
A full-grain leather tote at 300 pieces usually lands between $38 and $55 depending on hardware and lining. Landed means FOB price, ocean freight, duty (currently ~6% for leather bags under HTS 4202), forwarder fees and last-mile trucking. We share the full breakdown before you commit.
Do you sign an NDA before I share designs?
Yes, mutual NDA is standard on the first email exchange. We never post client work in our public gallery without written permission, and we don't produce competing pieces during an active exclusivity clause.
