Overview
Sweden is a small-order, high-standard market. Our Swedish clients rarely place first orders above two hundred pieces per style, but they return quarterly and their tolerance for finish inconsistency is close to zero. It's a market that pushes us to be better, which is why we like it.
Swedish design brands often ask specifically for vegetable-tanned hides, not chrome. We source these from an Italian tannery in Santa Croce and a Tuscan re-tannery via our Chittagong warehouse — full-grain, mineral-free, aged and finished. It costs more per square foot than chrome-tanned; the finished bag reflects it.
We ship directly to Gothenburg on services that touch Rotterdam and Bremerhaven en route. Twenty-eight to thirty-two days on water. From Gothenburg most of our clients truck onward to Stockholm, Malmö or into Denmark and Norway — the Nordic road network makes this straightforward.
