Overview
Belgium sits at the intersection of the Antwerp fashion cluster and the Brussels EU institutional market. Our Belgian clients tend to fall into two groups: contemporary fashion brands out of Antwerp and corporate gifting suppliers into Brussels institutions. Two very different production briefs, both worth doing well.
Antwerp is fast, efficient and less strike-prone than either Rotterdam or Le Havre. Twenty-six to twenty-eight days sea from Chittagong. Customs clearance is typically the same day. Antwerp also has a strong onward truck network into Northern France, Luxembourg and the Ruhr — useful if you're a Belgian brand that also sells across the border.
Roughly a third of our Belgian volume is corporate gifting — leather notebook covers, cardholders and business bag sets ordered by consultancies and law firms for client gifts. These orders have tight deadlines (usually around Christmas or corporate anniversaries) and demanding personalisation requirements. We handle laser engraving, foil stamping and individual gift boxing.
