Sustainability

Leather made the responsible way.

Sustainability in leather manufacturing is not a marketing badge — it is a chain of evidence. Audited tanneries, tested chemistry, fair labour and production sized to real demand. Below is what we do, and the documents that back it up.

LWG-audited leather

We source finished leather exclusively from Leather Working Group audited tanneries. Every batch arrives with a certificate that tracks water use, chemical management and effluent treatment scores. No opaque supply chains.

Chrome-free & vegetable tanned options

For brands that need it, we run parallel production lines in chrome-free wet-white and traditional vegetable-tanned leathers from Tuscan and Bangladeshi tanners. Ideal for baby products, medical-grade or heritage lines.

REACH & Prop 65 compliant

All hardware, dyes, adhesives and finishing chemicals are tested against EU REACH and California Proposition 65 limits. Test reports are kept on file for every production run and shared on request.

Water & waste reduction

Our cutting room uses digital nesting software that reduces leather waste by 12–18% versus manual patterns. Offcuts are collected and sold to small-goods makers rather than incinerated. Wastewater is treated on-site before discharge.

Fair labour & SEDEX / BSCI

SEDEX SMETA and BSCI social audits on file. No forced labour, no child labour, contracted hours, on-time wages, safe factory environment. Third-party audit welcome any time.

Right-sized production

We accept low MOQs from 50 pieces so brands do not over-produce inventory that ends up destroyed or incinerated. Better to make less, sell through, and re-order than to landfill deadstock.

Ask for the paperwork

We share LWG certificates, REACH test reports, SEDEX audit results and material composition sheets under NDA on request. If your compliance team needs it, we have it.
